Uppsala University's award for successful knowledge transfer, "hjärnäpplet", has been awarded to OssDsign co-founder Håkan Engqvist, professor of applied material science.

In a retrospective study of patients undergoing cranioplasty using OSSDSIGN Cranial, 96,7% of patients treated showed no signs of post-operative complications leading to implant
removal at an average follow-up time of 9,5 months. This indicates that OSSDSIGN Cranial may provide a better, more permanent solution for cranioplasty, even in
a complex patient population.
